Potter's Choice

The Potter's Choice glazes are designed with the potter in mind. These wonderful glazes give any object a superb look with changing colors and highlighting textures. They are applied with a brush in 2-4 layers and for best results the objects are fired to cone 5/6 (1207°C - 1230°C). The examples on the website are made on light stoneware clay at 1207°C. 473 ml or 3.78 liters.

Inspired by classic tomato red reduction glazes, Ancient Copper is an iridescent, iron red glaze that breaks dark brown over texture and pools dark yellow-green, giving it a weathered appearance.
