Enamel White - dipping glaze

The Dipping and Layering glazes from Amaco are easy-to-use stoneware dipping glazes designed for easy dipping and layering. These glazes are inspired by popular glazes from the Potter's Choice glaze series. Simply add 3.78 liters of distilled water per 1 bag of dry material and mix as described under the heading Dipping Glazes - Amaco and fire to 1207°C. See also the brochure under the DOCUMENTS tab below. The examples on the website are shown on white clay fired to 1207°C. Each glaze bag will yield approximately 4.7 liters or at least 10 pints (473 ml) of glaze. Please set the kiln as follows:

Cone/cone 5 = 1220 °C (at 150 °C/hour for the last 100 °C of firing)

Cone/Cone 6 = 1241°C (at 150°C/hour for the last 100°C of firing)
