Description 

Stoneware glaze for dipping. Fires between 1200 °C and 1260 °C (cone 5 to 10). Can be sprayed and used for oxidation, reduction, among others. Since clays can vary and have different properties, we recommend testing the glaze on a small piece of the clay you intend to use. The bag contains powder to be mixed with water according to the instructions.

Stoneware classic glazes offer the depth, sophistication, and reliability to artists working from mid-range to high-fire temperatures. Many glazes will break over textures, revealing secondary colors and shades. Used alone, stoneware glazes produce beautiful color variations. One coat will allow the clay body to show through the glaze and two to three coats deepen the color. The choice of clay body, thickness of glaze application, firing process, and temperature will affect the fired finish.

Information 

Cone 6: Lavender Mist is a semi-opaque gloss glaze that displays shades of lavender and brown. The variation of the glaze is dependent on application; Thicker application will result in a more opaque and homogenous color.

Cone 10: Color darkens.
