Stoneware glaze from Speedball Art.
Stoneware glazes from Speedball Art come in many different varieties and can be fired at 1210°-1240°C. The glaze is applied with a soft brush in 2-4 layers on wheel-thrown stoneware. By combining different glazes with each other in layers, you can get endless variations. We recommend carrying out test firings with different thicknesses, on the desired clay and with a stoneware firing curve/temperature before applying to the production. The examples on the website are fired on white clay at 1220°C with a medium slow curve of about 7-8 hours.
