Slip - stoneware - 10 liter

Casting body 1100 from Goerg&Schneider is a very light firing, porcelain-like stoneware casting body without chamotte. The recommended firing range is 1200 °C – 1280 °C.
This casting body is almost as white as porcelain, although not translucent. Casting body 1100 is suitable for making decorative ceramics and tableware. Due to the light firing colour the luminosity of transparent glazes is increased.
It is good for combining with throwing body 1100.

 Shrinkage after drying: 5% shrinkage at 1240°C: 8%. Absorption at 1240°C: 0,1%
