Description.
Smugs from Amaco Set #108 contains the colors Light Yellow, Maroon, Dark Blue, Blue-Green, Dark Green, Light Brown, White and Black and are Semi-Moist Underglazes. SMUG's are formulated to react similarly to brushing with watercolors - they become more opaque with thicker application and more transparent after water is added. They can be mixed and diluted to achieve a variety of effects.
Information
At stoneware temperatures, texture and slight color changes may occur. Test firing is recommended.
Fired at cone 04-10 (1000°C-1260°C). *Excluding light yellow and reddish brown only (cone 04-6).
Must be used with the correct glaze to be food safe. Recommended clear glaze for earthenware: LG-10 and for stoneware: C-11, HF-9, SW-004 or MS-100
