This smooth stoneware clay from Goerg & Schneider with 25% chamotte (0-0.5 mm) is suitable for small and medium-sized projects. This clay contains black grogg which can effectively made visibel with a sponge. The firing range is between 1000°C-1200°C, the color of the clay changes depending on the temperature. The recommended bisque firing temperature is 1040°C (cone 04). Shrinkage after drying: 7%, shrinkage at 1070°C: 4%. Absorption at 1070°C: 8%.
