Underglaze Crayons - set 209

Underglaze Decorating Crayons are ideal for shading and fine drawing. Apply the underglaze crayon to bisque ware to create a variety of unique decorative designs and than a clearglaze of your choice.

To reduce smudging the Chalk Crayons while glazing, mix 1 tablespoon of AMACO gum solution (KT-AGS) to one pint of water and spray on work before applying glaze. 

Food safe when applied and fired under LG-10, F-10 or HF-9 Amaco clearglaze.

Note: The maximum firing temperature is Cone 10 (1305°C) for Blue, Black, and Green, Cone 5 (1207°C) for Brown and Yellow, and Cone 05 (1044°C) for Rose.
