Ceramic Molds

Ceramic molds for casting are made of a special plaster that has a high density. The mold is to be filled with slip. The slip should remain in the mold for a while before being poured out again. The plaster absorbs the water from the clay and after a while the mold can be opened to release the finished casted object.
