Kemper Tools

Kemper Tools' ability to listen and respond to the needs of artists, teachers, professionals and hobbyists alike, and to adapt to the ever-changing industry, made Kemper the world's largest manufacturer of quality ceramic art tools. They grew and grew, expanding across the United States and into twenty-seven other countries. In the early seventies, Kemper MFG. moved to Chino, California. In 1981, Jack Kemper retired and sold the company to Kemper Vice President Herb Stampfl. Herb, who originally joined Kemper as an engineer, is the acting CEO, serves on the organization's boards, and still participates in the design of new tools and innovative products.

Today, KEMPER still stands for quality tools, superior service and affordability. We pride ourselves on being a progressive company that brings you new innovative art tools to create the artist's hand.
